Dominican Republic

        What to see in DR:
Samana Peninsula
Gorgeous view of the ocean at Patio Zemi Villa on the top of the mountain
Sands of Playa Bonita
Calamari (Playa Bonita style)
Beautiful Waterfall near El Limon. Buy a trip to the waterfall. It includes horseback riding through the jungle, hiking and finally you can dive in cold waters of the stunning waterfall. Cocktails in Bahia Azul Bar & Restaurant in Santa Barbara de Samana seem to be one of the best on the island. Don't try to reach Playa Rincon (if you are not on 4WD). There are other beaches and most of them are gorgeous. Heading out of Samana Peninsula to the west, don't miss a cave on the highway

Stop by Playa Grande for a cup of delicious Dominican coffee or couple of cocktails. An excellent meal with cocktails costs around $25
Cabarete is the capital of kitesurfing with night life places and crazy prices for Guinness
Stop by Puerto Plata to have a thrilling seven minutes ride up the nearly vertical slope to the top of Mount Isabel de Torres (780m/2,600 ft). In addition to the harbor views there are botanical garden and a statue of Christ similar to the one in Río de Janeiro
Visit 27 waterfalls of Rio Damajagua (to be honest 12 waterfalls were more than enough for us)
Find time to explore inland with the highest mountains, waterfalls, and mountain top restaurant Aroma MontanaWe only visited the biggest and the most famous waterfall in Jarabacoa
And after exciting trip, a couple of relaxing days in the Majestic Elegance hotel located in Arena Gorda, Punta Cana
